FADED TEARS
by Joanne R. Dabek
As my tears fall on this paper they
will dry and fade away,
but so many will soon follow,
as I relive that day.
So many times I've asked why
and begged to turn back time,
knowing deep inside my heart,
the answers were not mine.
What could you have been
thinking when you took them back to you,
did our hearts not matter,
did you care what we went through?
Weren't our younger years
hard enough to teach us things unkind
you took the ones we loved so much and left us all
behind.
They say it's wrong to
question that you know all that is right,
but can you fill the void we feel or dry the tears at
night.
What could be the lesson to
lose the one we loved so much
robbed of their presence, their love and their touch.
They say that time will heal
us and our pain will soon subside
but nothing fills the void in life of loved ones that
have died.
We will always have the
wanting to see them just once more,
always wishing in our hearts that things were like
before.
Now my tears have dried and
faded no one will know I've cried,
nor will they feel my broken heart
for loved ones who have died.
AN ANGELS KISS
by: Peggie Bouse
We go through life so often
Not stopping to enjoy the day
And we take each one for granted
As we travel on our way.
We never stop to measure
Anything we just might miss
But if the wind should blow by softly
You'll feel an ANGEL'S KISS.
A kiss that is sent from heaven
A kiss from up above
A Kiss that is very special
From someone that you love.
For in your pain and sorrow
An ANGELS KISS will help you through
This kiss is very private
For it is meant for only you.
So when your hearts are heavy
And filled with tears and pain
And no one can console you
Remember once again.....
About
the ones you grieve for
Because you sadly miss
And the gentle breeze you took for
granted
Was just an ANGELS KISS...
